Structures Of Two Illegal Societies Demolished

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2025) The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has demolished structures of two illegal housing colonies and sealed unauthorised constructions of 10 plots in Madina Town.

An FDA spokesman said here on Saturday that Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry had issued strict orders for launching a vigorous crackdown on illegal housing schemes, encroachments and unauthorised constructions across the city.

During this drive, FDA teams under supervision of Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin, Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj and Estate Officer Aneeb Aslam Randhawa conducted thorough inspections to ensure compliance with building by-laws and land subdivision regulations.

During inspections, two illegal housing schemes including Blossom Avenue and Palm City were found to be operating without approval on Satiana Road. Therefore, the structures of two unapproved housing schemes on Satiana Road were demolished in addition to sealing their sales offices.

Similarly in Madina Town, 10 plots were found involved in unauthorized commercialization and illegal construction activities. Hence, the FDA team also sealed these plots to prevent further violations.

Meanwhile, FDA enforcement teams removed permanent encroachments in Allama Iqbal Colony including illegal ramps and concrete structures and restored public access and order to the area, he added.
