UAF celebrates Francophonie Week

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) celebrated the French Language and Francophonie Week with a visit from Fabrice Disdier, Director of Alliance Française Lahore (AFL).

UAF spokesman said here on Tuesday that Fabrice Disdier engaged with UAF students in a thought-provoking session where he highlighted the immense scholarship and study opportunities available in France, encouraging students to explore academic horizons beyond borders.

He also spoke about the richness of the French language, its vibrant culture and its distinguished literary heritage — underscoring the global significance of French as a language of science and the arts.

The event offered students a unique platform to connect with the Francophone world and discover pathways to international education.
