35th National Games Begins From December 6

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) The Sindh government held an important meeting to ensure full participation and effective preparation for the 35th National Games, 1st National Youth Games, 3rd Asian Youth Games, and 4th Youth Olympic Games.

Chaired by Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr, the meeting took place at the Sindh Secretariat and was attended by Additional Secretary of Sports Department Asad Ishaq, Sindh Olympic Association officials Ahmed Ali Rajput, Asghar Baloch, and others.

During the meeting, it was announced that the Sindh government will host the 35th National Games from December 6 to 13, 2025. Moreover, Sindh’s athletes will actively participate in the 1st National Youth Games, 3rd Asian Youth Games, and 4th Youth Olympic Games.

Sindh Olympic Association and Additional Secretary Asad Ishaq briefed that the 1st National Youth Games will be held in Islamabad from September 6 to 13, 2025, under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program. Meanwhile, the 3rd Asian Youth Games will take place in Manama, Bahrain, from October 22 to 31, 2025, and the 4th Youth Olympic Games will be held in Dakar, Senegal, from October 31 to November 13, 2025.

Sindh Sports Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr said that 350 athletes, team officials, and contingent officials from Sindh will participate in the National Youth Games. He directed all provincial sports associations to conduct fair and transparent trials for team selection and to immediately organize training camps for athlete preparation.

Sardar Mehr emphasized that selected athletes will receive professional coaching to enhance their performance at national and international levels. He added that Sindh’s young athletes possess immense talent and are fully capable of winning medals at global competitions.

According to the spokesperson, athletes qualifying for the Asian Youth Games will automatically be eligible for the Youth Olympic Games, for which special preparation guidelines have already been issued.
