DPO Dera Reviews Security At Police Stations And CPEC Route

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Sajad Ahmed Sahabzada, conducted inspection visits to Police Station Yarik, Police Station Giloti, Chunda Checkpost, and various security points along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route.

During the visits, the DPO was briefed by SP Pezu Asad Ali Shah and DSP Panyala Naqeebullah Khan regarding the operational readiness and overall security arrangements of the respective jurisdictions. The DPO also inspected the motorway police checkpoints established along the CPEC corridor.

While interacting with the police personnel deployed at checkposts, the DPO issued directives related to strengthening security protocols.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining regular mobile patrolling, closely monitoring suspicious individuals, and ensuring a visible law enforcement presence in sensitive areas.

DPO Sajad Ahmed instructed the police to remain vigilant without causing unnecessary inconvenience to commuters and travelers during security checks. He reiterated that the safety of the public should go hand-in-hand with respectful and professional conduct by the police.

The visit aimed to enhance field-level policing, boost morale among personnel, and ensure foolproof security measures across vital infrastructure zones.
