DPO Dera Reviews Security At Polling Stations For LG By-elections

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2025) District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada, visited various polling stations set up for the local government by-elections to review the security arrangements and ensure smooth conduct of the polling process.
During the visit, Superintendent of Police (SP) City Division, Ali Hamza, briefed the DPO about the security measures taken at different polling stations.
The DPO also interacted with the Election Commission staff and inquired about the security and facilitation arrangements made by the police.
The polling staff expressed satisfaction over the overall arrangements.
DPO Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada appreciated the efforts SHO Shorkot, Aftab Alam Baloch, for making effective security arrangements and maintaining order in the area.
He also directed the police officials to continue patrolling in the surrounding areas of polling stations to ensure peace and security throughout the polling process.
