
Muzaffargarh District Council Achieves Record Recovery

Muzaffargarh, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2025) The building branch of the Muzaffargarh District Council achieved a record
recovery of Rs 37.7 million from defaulters.
According to Malik Asim, Building Inspector, the recovery drive was carried out under the
special directives of Chief Officer Anum Masoom Khan.
The recovered amount includes dues
from commercial buildings, marriage halls, petrol pumps, and thirteen commercial banks
operating in Rohilanwali and Muzaffargarh, as well as owners of structures constructed
without approved building plans.
“The department’s recovery this year is several percent higher than previous years, setting a new
record for the district,” Malik Asim said.
