Anti-encroachment operation continues

The Multan Development Authority (MDA) conducted a crackdown on

encroachments here on Monday

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2025) The Multan Development Authority (MDA) conducted a crackdown on

encroachments here on Monday.

The MDA teams in a joint operation with the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA)

removed illegal signboards installed on green belts at Northern Bypass Chowk and Nagana

Chowk.

Meanwhile, in another drive, the MDA enforcement team cleared roadside encroachments

from key locations, including Bosan Road Tehsil Chowk, Chungi No 9, Kumharan Wala Chowk

and the surroundings of Khad Factory Chowk on Khanewal Road.

According to the MDA spokesman, the instructions given by the Punjab government

are fully implemented in the city for cleaner and greener Punjab.

Teams conducted raids on daily basic at different areas and markets, he said and added the

action was taken to maintain cleanliness and strict action would be taken against elements

involved in encroachments.

He appealed to citizens to cooperate with the team and discourage elements involved in

spoiling beauty of the city.
