Police conduct search operations in bid to curb criminal activities

On the instructions of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani, Rawalpindi Police carried out a large-scale search operation in various parts of the city to curb criminal activity under the National Action Plan

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2025) On the instructions of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani, Rawalpindi Police carried out a large-scale search operation in various parts of the city to curb criminal activity under the National Action Plan.

According to police spokesman, local police, Elite Force, Ladies Police and other law enforcement agencies participated in the operation.

During the operation, police searched 280 houses, 131 shopkeepers, 15 shops, 01 hotel, and over 550 individuals were questioned.

Divisional Superintendents of Police (SPs) stated that the purpose of these operations is to eliminate criminal elements and ensure public safety.

The officials said that such operations will be continued in the coming days as part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order across the city.
