Awareness Convention Was Organized For Numbered Farmers

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2025) As per the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Tehsil Lalian, District Chiniot here on Saturday organized a numbered convention for the awareness of the numbered farmers about the campaign to grow more wheat and fight smog.

Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal was the special participant. Assistant Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed, Deputy Director Agriculture Dr. Shahbaz were present in the event.

Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner said that the landowners should grow more wheat. It is possible to increase wheat production with modern farming methods, he said and added that paddy residues should not be burned to prevent smog.

During the convention, the Deputy Commissioner informed about the Chief Minister Punjab’s Green Tractor Scheme, Kisan Card, interest-free loans for agricultural equipment, provision of superseeders and other revolutionary measures.
