LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2025) The Metro Bus Service in Lahore has been partially suspended and is now operating on a limited route due to security concerns, official sources in the Punjab Transport Department told APP.
They said the Metro Bus Service is currently running only between Gajjumata and MAO College, while the segment from MAO College to Shahdara has been temporarily closed.
According to the sources, the decision was taken a few days ago as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.
Meanwhile, the Orange Line Metro Train continues to operate normally, though two stations — Band Road and Multan Road — remain closed for security reasons.
Authorities have advised citizens to use alternative transport options until normal operations are restored.
