
‘Fraudster’ Arrested With Stolen Rs 9 M

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) The Sadiqabad Police in a major action have arrested an accused involved in many cases of robbery, theft and fraud.
More than Rs 9 million, stolen and swindled from his victims through fraudulent means, was also recovered from him, a Rawalpindi Police spokesman said on Friday.
The accused was wanted to Sadiqabad, New Town, Pirwadhai and Morgah police stations in many cases of fraud and theft.
Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Kashif Zulfiqar and Superintendent of Police Rawal Muhammad Haseeb Raja handed over the recovered money to the original owners.
According to the spokesman, the citizens thanked the City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi and appreciated the performance of Rawalpindi Police.
Meanwhile, CPO Hamdani appreciated the SP Rawal, DSP New Town, SHO Sadiqabad and his team for the arrest of the accused and the recovery of millions of rupees looted from the citizens. He directed the Sadiqabad Police to prepare a challan against the accused with solid evidence to get him convicted from the court of law.
