Govt. Focused On Public Welfare: PM Coordinator

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Information and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Affairs, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, said on Saturday that the government’s top priority remains public welfare.

Speaking to the media, he stated that and the country is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team.

He said that significant improvement has been achieved on the economic, diplomatic, and governance fronts.

Commenting on the state of opposition politics, he said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is riddled with factionalism and contradictions.

He said that there is visible division within PTI with multiple groups pursuing personal interests.

He further criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, accusing it of severe corruption and said the law and order situation in the province has deteriorated alarmingly.
