KP Law Minister Pushes For Swift Completion Of Kohat Interchange

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2025) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Aftab Alam Advocate, visited proposed Dhoda Chowk interchange on Indus Highway in Kohat on Sunday to assess project's progress and address hindering challenges.

Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kohat, Abdul Akram Chitrali, and National Highway Authority (NHA) officials, the Minister urged authorities to accelerate efforts and ensure project's timely completion for public convenience. He also pledged to prioritize addressing local issues, including improving travel and transport facilities.

Minister Alam reiterated provincial government's commitment to allocating necessary resources for public welfare projects and assured full cooperation from Kohat district administration to NHA. NHA officials briefed the Minister on project's status and future plans, promising to provide all possible public facilities.

During his visit, the Law Minister also inspected the ongoing construction of the Dhoda–Shadi Khel Road, a Rs. 100 million development.
