Murderer Gets Death Sentence

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2025) A sessions court awarded death penalty to a convict and life imprisonment to

his accomplice in a murder case.

Additional Sessions Judge Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan, announced the verdict after completing

the trial.

The convict, Muhammad Asif, was sentenced to death while co-accused Soonahara

was handed down life imprisonment for their involvement in the murder of Bashir Ahmed.

The court ordered Muhammad Asif to pay Rs 500,000 and Soonahara to pay Rs 100,000 as

compensation to the heirs of the deceased.

The police investigations revealed that in 2021, Muhammad Asif had murdered Bashir Ahmed with

his accomplice in Basti Sawan in City Jalalpur Pirwala police limits.
