Peaceful Conclusion To 10 Muharram Al-Haram Procession In Kohat

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2025) The main procession of 10 Muharram Al-Haram in Kohat district concluded peacefully, thanks to the effective strategy, inter-agency coordination, and cooperation of the public.

The district administration and Kohat police took extensive measures to ensure the security of the procession, including electronic monitoring through CCTV cameras and setting up special checkpoints on sensitive areas and traditional routes, the local correspondent of APP reported this from Kohat on Sunday.

According to the details, the authorities conducted thorough searches of individuals participating in the procession and sealed off the main market to prevent any untoward incident.

The district administration and police repeatedly scanned the routes of the procession, allowing only those who had been searched to join. These measures ensured the safe passage of the procession through its traditional routes.
