
Pak Cueists Win Matches In IBSF World Snooker C'ships

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2025) Pakistani cueists Muhammad Asif and Shahid Aftab earned victories in the IBSF World Masters, U17, U21 & Men 6Red Snooker Championships 2025 at Manama, Bahrain.
A total of 43 players from 15 nations have been divided into 11 groups.
After the league matches 2 players from each group will qualify for the knockout last 22 round.
On Day 1, Muhammad Asif (Pakistan) beat Haitham Bin Ali (Oman) 3-0 (89(61)-33, 69(46)-4, 53-6); Shahid Aftab (Pakistan) beat Mohamed Noweir (Egypt) 3-2 (68-43, 47-64, 88(88)-35, 31-60, 94-36); Muhammad Asif (Pakistan) beat Jay Chopra (Ireland) (68-33, 79-14, 67-16).
