Flames Reach Deal With Goal Scorer Neal

Calgary, Canada, July 3 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2018 ) :James Neal, who led the expansion Vegas Golden Knights on a Cinderella run through the Stanley Cup playoffs, has reached an agreement to play for the Calgary Flames next season.

Neal's five-year deal will pay him a salary of about US$5.

7 million per year as he adds some much needed toughness and scoring punch to the Calgary lineup.

The 30-year-old Neal is coming off a brilliant regular season and run to the Stanley Cup final with the Golden Knights despite playing with a hand injury.

He scored 25 goals and 44 points in 71 regular-season games before adding six goals and 11 points in 20 playoff contests.

Neal has reached the 20-goal mark in each of his 10 NHL seasons. In 703 career games he has 263 goals and 495 points.
