Iranian Foreign Minister To Visit Italy To Participate In MED-2018 Forum - Ministry

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif will head to Italy to attend the Mediterranean Dialogues (MED) forum, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bahram Ghasemi said on Wednesday.
"Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif is slated to travel to the Italian capital of Rome on Wednesday to attend a high-level conference and hold talks with a number of his foreign counterparts.
During the visit, Zarif will participate in the Mediterranean Dialogues Conference (MED)," Ghasemi said in a statement, published on the ministry's website.
The international Mediterranean Dialogues conference will take place on November 22-24.
The MED forum is an annual high-level initiative aimed at promoting dialogue on issues of shared interest in the Mediterranean at both regional and international levels.
