Jordan, Egypt Ink Cooperation Agreement In Postal Service

Jordan and Egypt postal services have penned an agreement in e-commerce and money transfer for Egyptian expat workers in the Kingdom.
CARIO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2018 ) :Jordan and Egypt postal services have penned an agreement in e-commerce and money transfer for Egyptian expat workers in the Kingdom.
Director-General of the Jordan Post, Khalid Lahham and the Chairman of the board of Directors of the Egyptian Post Office Issam Al-Saghir signed the protocol in Cairo.
It provides for activating money transfer of Egyptian expats in Jordan to their relatives, so they collect the cash through more than 4,000 post offices spread across Egypt.
"The agreement eyes enhanced cooperation between the Egyptian Post Office and its Jordanian counterpart, as well as it taps into both countries' potential to provide e-commerce services at competitive prices", said Al-Saghir.
For his part, Lahham underscored the mutual collaboration between thepostal systems in the two countries and expressed hope for continuedexchange of expertise between them.
