Moldova's Party Of Socialists Leading In General Elections With Over 31% -Official Results

Four parties have won parliamentary mandates in Moldova's general elections, with the Party of Socialists securing 31.35 percent of the ballots, the Central Electoral Commission said on Monday after counting 98 percent of the ballots
CHISINAU (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th February, 2019) Four parties have won parliamentary mandates in Moldova's general elections, with the Party of Socialists securing 31.35 percent of the ballots, the Central Electoral Commission said on Monday after counting 98 percent of the ballots.
According to the commission results, the ACUM bloc won 26.17 percent, the Democratic Party secured 24.01 percent and the SOR Party was favored by 8.44 percent of the voters. Other parties failed to reach the 6 percent threshold.
None of the parties has so far secured the majority.
