Over 100 People Return To Syria From Lebanon In Past 24 Hours - Russian Defense Ministry

Over 100 Syrian refugees returned from Lebanon to Syria in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Refugee Reception, Distribution and Settlement said on Tuesday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th September, 2018) Over 100 Syrian refugees returned from Lebanon to Syria in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Refugee Reception, Distribution and Settlement said on Tuesday.
"Over the past 24 hours, 131 refugees returned from Lebanon to Syria via Jaydet-Yabus checkpoint (39 women, 67 children)," the center said in a statement.
In addition, 578 internally displaced people returned to their homes in the last 24 hours.
The Russian military gave out food packages to people in the province of Deir ez-Zor. Sixty-two people in the province received medical aid. In Aleppo, the Kadyrov Regional Public Fund gave out one tonne of bread.
Thirty-six objects that posed a risk of explosion, including three improvised explosive devices, were destroyed in Syria in the last 24 hours.
