Road Accident Involving Truck Kills 20 People In Northern China - Authorities

Twenty individuals were killed and at least 30 others sustained injuries after a truck, belonging to a coal mining company, crashed in China's northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday, local authorities said
BEIJING (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd February, 2019) Twenty individuals were killed and at least 30 others sustained injuries after a truck, belonging to a coal mining company, crashed in China's northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday, local authorities said.
According to a statement issued by the local administration, the accident took place at around 8:20 a.m. local time (00:20 GMT) when a truck transporting workers crashed in the province's Xilin Gol region, killing 15 people on the spot.
Another person died on the way to a medical facility and four others succumbed to their wounds at a hospital.
