Russian Seasons Festival May Be Held In US In Next 2-3 Years - Senior Russian Official

Russian Seasons, an international festival of Russian culture, could be organized in the United States in the next two or three years, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets told Sputnik on Wednesday, adding that the exact dates for the event were being discussed.
VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th September, 2018) Russian Seasons, an international festival of Russian culture, could be organized in the United States in the next two or three years, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets told Sputnik on Wednesday, adding that the exact dates for the event were being discussed.
"The prospect [of holding] Russian Seasons in the United States is being discussed. Next year we will have Russian Seasons in Germany ... We are now thinking which year to offer for Russian Seasons to our colleagues in the United States," she said, adding that the options were "the next two or three years.
"
Golodets stressed that this year's Russian Seasons in Italy was so far proving to be a huge success.
The festival was held for the first time in 2017 in Japan. Over 20 organizations participated in events that were organized in 40 Japanese cities. This year, the festival is going on in 75 Italian cities; the Russian Culture Ministry expects over 5 million guests to attend.
