A subsidiary of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation, Aviastar-SP, has started constructing assemblies for the second prototype of the Il-114-300 turboprop aircraft, the company's press service said Thursday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th January, 2019) A subsidiary of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation, Aviastar-SP, has started constructing assemblies for the second prototype of the Il-114-300 turboprop aircraft, the company's press service said Thursday.
The first prototype is currently being assembled by the Ilyushin Aviation Complex in Zhukovsky.
"An agreement on cooperation of JSC Aviastar-SP and JSC MiG was signed on starting construction of the second prototype... of the new Russian regional twin-engine turboprop passenger aircraft Il-114-300," the company said in a statement.
