Ryabkov, Israeli Diplomat Discuss Situation In Middle East, Arms Control - Moscow

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov discussed the situation in the Middle East and the issue of arms control with Deputy Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Alexander Ben-Zvi, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 16th October, 2018) Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov discussed the situation in the middle East and the issue of arms control with Deputy Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Alexander Ben-Zvi, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.

"The sides exchanged views on various subjects, including topical issues of Russian-US relations, international security, arms control and non-proliferation of mass destruction weapons, with an emphasis on the situation in the Middle East," the ministry said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov received a delegation of senior officials from the Israeli Foreign Ministry, led by Ben-Zvi, who had arrived in Moscow with a visit.
