Yemeni Gov't Delegate In Sweden Urges Iran To Stop Influencing Yemen's Domestic Affairs

Iran should stop its interference in Yemen's domestic affairs through the backing of the Shia Houthi movement, Osman Hussein, Yemen's minister of agriculture and a member of the government delegation at the consultations on Yemen in Sweden, said on Friday.
"Iran is harming Yemen, Iran is supporting the Houthis and we are telling Iran from this place: leave Yemen alone. Yemen is enough with your damage, with your policy. If you look at Iran they are doing nothing, even they haven't reconstructed, helped, or given any humanitarian aid for anyone," Hussein told reporters.
The delegations of the Yemeni government and Houthi representatives arrived in Sweden on Wednesday. The crisis settlement talks began earlier on Thursday in Rimbo, a town north of Stockholm, and are expected to last through December 14.
Yemen has been ravaged by almost four years of war between an internationally backed government, aided by a Saudi-led coalition, and the Houthi rebels that has pushed half the country's population to the brink of starvation. An attempt to begin formal negotiations failed in September after Houthis said they were barred from leaving the country.
