
PSX Sheds 68 Points

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) The pakistan stock exchange’s (psx) benchmark KSE-100 shed 68.14 points on Friday, showing a negative change of 0.05 percent, closing at 138,597.36 points against 138,665.50 points last trading day.
A total of 609,443,979 shares were traded during the day as compared to 780,007,655 shares the previous trading day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 31.624 billion against Rs 39.975 billion on the last trading day.
As many as 478 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, 120 of them recorded gains and 331 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 27 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Pak International Bulk with 53,113,672 shares at Rs 10.
14 per share, First Dawood Prop with 42,000,846 shares at Rs6.93 per share and Ghani Chemworld with 31,782,721 shares at Rs 13.41 per share.
Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 310.86 per share price, closing at Rs 24,510.0, whereas the runner-up was Pakistan Services Limited with Rs 110.57 rise in its per share price to Rs 1,216.22.
PIA Holding Company LimitedB witnessed a maximum decrease of Rs3,829.05 per share closing at Rs 34,461.47 followed by Hoechst Pakistan Limited with Rs84.80 decline in its share price to close at Rs3,115.20.
