KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, Asia Inspire, Kim Oldendorff, Al-Jassasiya and Akij Noble carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, LNG and Coal, berthed at Liquid Cargo Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Elengy Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on
Thursday, Meanwhile three more ships, Chemroad Polaris, Apanemo and Fortune Tiger with Palm oil, Mogas and Coal also arrive at outer anchorage on same day.
A total of six ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them bulk cargo carrier ‘Nord Utopia’ left the port on today morning, while another bulk cargo carrier ‘Rome Trader’ expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 70,255 tonnes, comprising 70,255 tonnes imports cargo and Nil export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Chemroad Polaris, Apanemo and ST Cergue & another ship ‘MSC Aditi’ carrying Palm oil, Mogas and Coal are expected to take berths at MW-1, FOTCO and MW-4 respectively on Friday, while another containers ship ‘X-Press Salween’ due to arrive at outer anchorage on Saturday.
