ERC Reopens Al Ittihad School In Mawza, Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent has reopened the Al Ittihad Secondary School for Boys in Mawza District, in the Yemeni Governorate of Taiz after renovation and refitting works

TAIZ, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 15th Jan, 2019) The Emirates Red Crescent has reopened the Al Ittihad Secondary School for Boys in Mawza District, in the Yemeni Governorate of Taiz after renovation and refitting works.

Mohammed Al Junaibi, Director of Humanitarian Affairs at the ERC in Yemen, said the school’s renovation was part of the projects that covered different sectors to bring life back to normalcy and to improve service provision standards to the residents of Taiz and other liberated governorates of Yemen.

He added that the school reopening will enable the return of 800 students and 40 teachers in Mawza District and the surrounding villages.
