Khalid Bin Mohamed Oversees Special Olympics World Games Final Preparations

H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Executive Committee, has inspected final preparations on the eve of the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 during a tour of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC
ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 13th Mar, 2019) H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Executive Committee, has inspected final preparations on the eve of the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 during a tour of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC.
His Highness inspected the main operations room at ADNEC, which will help facilitate technical and logistics requirements during the Games.
Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed listened to a presentation on the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and its hosting of 11 indoor sport categories including badminton, basketball, judo, table tennis and volleyball, during the Special Olympics World Games.
During the tour, he emphasised the importance behind ensuring that all aspects and preparations related to the Games are covered and are of the highest quality and standard, reflecting the core objective of transmitting a message of inclusion from Abu Dhabi to the world.
Sheikh Khalid said that the Abu Dhabi government and its vision for comprehensive development continues to prove the emirate's ability to host major events, applying world-class standards.
7,500 athletes from more than 190 nations will be competing at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event of 2019.
