DPO Conducts Surprise Visits To Bhera, Miani Police Stations

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf conducted surprise inspections of Bhera Police Station, the Police Khidmat Markaz in Bhera, and Miani Police Station to assess cleanliness, infrastructure, case property records, staff barracks, and the functioning of front desks.

During the visit to Bhera, the DPO reviewed the records and received a detailed briefing on the detainees held in custody. He stressed the need for round-the-clock preparedness in view of potential flood threats. The DPO also directed that the concerns of visiting citizens be addressed on a priority basis, with courtesy and full facilitation.

“Our police stations must become true centers of public service,” he remarked. “Public safety is our top priority, and we must fulfill this responsibility with commitment and integrity. Strict legal action must be taken against criminal elements, and efforts to maintain law and order must continue without pause.” He further directed that the patrolling system be enhanced, and those violating the law be dealt with firmly. “Negligence in duty will not be tolerated while effective action against wanted criminals and expeditious challaning of pending cases is essential",he added.
