Irregularities Uncovered In Non-Functional Tube Wells In Tank: Alleges MNA Dawar Kundi

TANK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2025) Member National Assembly (MNA) Dawar Khan Kundi has strongly criticized the Public Health Department Tank, alleging serious financial irregularities in connection with non-functional tube wells across the district.

Talking to media persons, he revealed that at least 15 tube wells—shown as completed on official documents—are in fact non-operational on the ground.

“These tube wells exist only on paper, yet full payments have been cleared for them,” Kundi claimed, calling the act a blatant misuse of public funds and a betrayal of the people of Tank.

The non-functional tube wells were reported in localities including Mohallah Phool Shah (City-II), Barra Khel, Durki, Gara Baloch, Ranwal, Kot Kat, Toran Sheran, Cheena, Pai, Kaka Khel, Koru Khan, Kirri Latti Jaffarabad, Rodi Khel, Gulzar, and Bangal Khel.

According to the MNA, the Public Health Department colluded with favored contractors to mint public resources. “Not a single one of these projects has been completed, yet the bills were cleared in full—a clear case of fraud,” he alleged.

Kundi added that he has formally submitted complaints to the Secretary of Public Health and the Anti-Corruption Department, seeking a full investigation into the matter.
