Man Accused Of Killing Wife, Instantly Murdered By In Laws

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) A man who allegedly killed his wife, a mother of 4 children in an apparently domestic violence related case, was himself killed minutes later allegedly by his in-laws.

The grisly incident transpired in village Khuda Bux Panhwar in the jurisdiction of Husri police station here on Saturday.

The SHO Husri Juman Khoso informed that slain Ali Nawaz Panhwar, 50 years old, assaulted his wife, 35 years old Hafeezan Panhwar, with a sharp object which took her life.

He added that as soon as Ali Nawaz left his home after killing his wife he was attacked by men from his in-laws.

According to the SHO, the slain man was convicted of 2 murders in the past for which he spent 12 years in prison.

He was also a drug addict who often resorted to violence at home, he added.

The police shifted both the dead bodies to Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) for postmortem.

The incident's FIR could not be registered by the evening.

A police source disclosed that the slain woman's brother and nephew had been arrested in connection with Ali Nawaz's murder but the police had still not officially declared the arrest.
