
Raja Basharat, Umar Ayub Bails Extended

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi conducted a hearing regarding cases filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in connection with the November 26 protest. The hearing was presided over by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah.
Former provincial minister Raja Basharat appeared before the court. The court extended his pre-arrest bail until July 16.
Opposition Leader Umar Ayub could not attend the hearing. His legal team submitted a medical report to the court, stating that he was unable to appear due to health issues. Based on the medical report, the court extended Umar Ayub’s interim bail until July 15.
