Peace Restored In Balochistan Due Joint Efforts Of Pak Army, FC: Saleem Khosa

Balochistan Home Minister Saleem Khan Khosa on Thursday said peace had been restored in the province due to joint efforts of the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC).
QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Balochistan Home Minister Saleem Khan Khosa on Thursday said peace had been restored in the province due to joint efforts of the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC).
"Peace prevails in the province because of the sacrifices rendered by the security forces," he said while addressing a ceremony held here at the FC headquarters to honour 160 officers, who had recently passed out from the Pakistan Military academy.
The minister said the incumbent government was utilizing all available resources to maintain sustainable peace in the province with the cooperation of security forces. FC was playing a vital role in that regard, he said, adding that the force was taking measures for provision of quality education, health and supplying clean water in the rural areas.
Saleem Khosa said the FC personnel always stood with the people of Balochistan in difficult times.
Moreover, it was performing the important duty regarding the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE) Noor Muhamamd Dumar, Inspector General of FC Balochsitan Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, political leaders, officials, family members of officers and tribal leaders were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, minister Haji Noor Muhammad Dumar said the provincial government was trying to remove sense of deprivation among the people despite many challenges faced by it. It was taking steps to eradicate corruption from the province, besides ensuring merit system in order to put the province on track of development, he added.
He said the people of Balochistan were proud of their security forces, including FC and Pakistan Army.
