Moscow is shocked by the terrorist attack in New Zealand, expresses its condolences and support to the country's people, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Friday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th March, 2019) Moscow is shocked by the terrorist attack in New Zealand, expresses its condolences and support to the country's people, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Friday.
"We are shocked by this terrible crime and on behalf of the Foreign Ministry also express deep sorrow and, of course, support for the people of New Zealand," Zakharova said at a briefing.
On Friday, shooting occurred in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called the shooting a terrorist act. A total of 49 people are believed to have been killed, more than 30 were injured. Four people suspected of involvement in the attack were detained. One person was charged with murder.
