Pope Francis To Hold Visit To Panama In January 2019 - Reports

MEXICO CITY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) Pope Francis will hold a visit to Panama in January 2019, local media reported, citing pope's nuncio in Panama, Miroslaw Adamczyk.
Pope Francis will arrive in Panama on January 23, 2019, La Estrella de Panama daily newspaper reported.
On January 24, 2019, he is set to hold a meeting with Panama's President Juan Carlos Varela, the country's diplomatic corps, civil society representatives, as well as with 70 bishops of the Catholic Churches in Latin America.
On January 24, 2019, Pope Francis will also participate in the opening ceremony of the 34th World Youth Day, while on the next day he is expected to hold a mass in a juvenile detention center.
