Ukrainian Troops Opened Fire At City Of Dokuchaievsk In DPR - Coordination Center

The Ukrainian troops on Tuesday opened gunfire at the city of Dokuchaievsk, controlled by the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), a DPR representative in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire said.
"Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the settlement of Dokuchaievsk with the use of large-caliber small arms. As a result of the fire a house was damaged ... There are no victims among civilians," the DPR representative said.
The conflict in Donbas started in 2014, when Ukrainian authorities launched a military operation against the DPR and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), which had refused to recognize the new government in Kiev that came to power after what they considered to be a coup.
In February 2015, the warring parties signed the Minsk peace accords to end the fighting in the region, but the situation has remained tense, with both parties accusing each other of ceasefire violations.
