ANKARA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2019 ) :Two Partiya Karkeren Kurdistan (PKK) terrorists killed in Thursday's anti-terror operation were among those named on the wanted terrorists list, Interior Ministry said on Friday.
Celal Kaya and Haydar Gul were inscribed on the blue and orange category of the wanted terrorists list of the Interior Ministry, respectively.
On Thursday, Turkish security forces neutralized six PKK terrorists in eastern Tunceli province.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.
On the second-highest category, Kaya was wanted with a bounty of 1.5 million Turkish liras (roughly $250,000), while 600,000 Turkish liras (nearly $98,000) bounty was on the head of Gul.
The list is divided into five color-coded categories, with red as the most wanted, followed by blue, green, orange and gray.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including many women and children.
