Grant For Clean Village Programme Extended

The Punjab government has extended grant for clean village programme from Rs 100,000 to 150,000 for each rural union council, said DD LG Khawaja Muhammad Anwar here on Wednesday
KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jan, 2018 ) :The Punjab government has extended grant for clean village programme from Rs 100,000 to 150,000 for each rural union council, said DD LG Khawaja Muhammad Anwar here on Wednesday.
He said, the government had earmarked Rs 100,000 for cleanliness purpose in rural union council, which was extended to Rs 150,000.
He said that committees were constituted at district level with chairman district councils deputed as conveners.
Each committee will consist of nine members including a DC, MPs, Mayor and vice chairmen of district council. The committee would monitor the clean village programme on daily basis.
