ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2025) Aleema Khan Friday filed a petition to Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking orders adial jail authorities to get signature of PTI founding chairman on power of attorney.

A petition was filed through Barrister Salman Safdar has taken the position that on June 24, the Lahore High Court rejected the bails of the founder PTI. The Supreme Court has to be approached against the decision of the LHC. The jail authorities have repeatedly requested to get the power of attorney signed from PTI founder.

Four lawyers, Zaheer Abbas, Intizar Panjhota, Khalid Yousuf, and Irfan Niazi, kept going to get the power of attorney signed. The Adiala Jail authorities are not granting permission in this regard, it claimed.

The petition said that it is necessary to file an appeal in the Supreme Court within the specified time. The time to file an appeal in the Supreme Court is also passing. The petition requested that the Adiala Jail authorities be ordered to get the power of attorney signed and given.
