DIG Sukkur Inspects Security Arrangements For Muharram Procession In Babarloi

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2025) DIG Sukkur Range, Captain (Retd) Faisal Abdullah Chachar on Monday visited the routes and Imam Bargah of the mourning procession to be held on 25th Muharram in Babarloi.

SSP Khairpur, Hassan Sardar Niazi, briefed him on the security arrangements.

Over 1,400 police personnel, including lady police officers, have been deployed to ensure the security of the procession. Quick Response Force (QRF) platoons have been put on standby. Strict checking will be carried out at all entry and exit points, and all vehicles and individuals will be thoroughly screened.

CCTV cameras will be installed around the procession and majlis areas. The streets will be cordoned off with barbed wire, and police personnel will be deployed in every street. Foolproof security arrangements will be in place to monitor the procession.

DIG Sukkur Range directed the police officers and personnel deployed for security to perform their duties with utmost vigilance and responsibility. He warned that any negligence or laxity would be dealt with sternly.
