Afghan Air Force's Strikes Kill 32 Taliban Militants In Country's West, South - Reports

At least 32 militants of the Taliban radical movement were killed and 10 more were injured in Afghan Air Force's strikes conducted in the country's southern and western regions, media reported, citing the Afghan Defense Ministry.

The airstrikes targeted militants' positions in the provinces of Farah and Helmand, according to the Xinhua news agency.
Afghanistan's government forces have long been fighting Taliban insurgency, as well as the Islamic State terrorist group (IS, outlawed in Russia), with the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces conducting joint counterterrorism operations across the country.
