At least six people were killed and thirty others seriously injured in a blast at a chemical plant in the eastern Chinese city of Yancheng on Thursday, local government said in a statement
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st March, 2019) At least six people were killed and thirty others seriously injured in a blast at a chemical plant in the eastern Chinese city of Yancheng on Thursday, local government said in a statement.
"At around 14:48 [local time] (6:48 GMT) on March 21, an explosion took place in the Jiangsu Tianjiayi Chemical Co.
, Ltd. [enterprise] at the ecological industrial park in Xiangshui County ... As of 7pm [local time], the accident has led to six deaths and another 30 people seriously injured, with others suffering various kinds of injures," the Yancheng government said in a statement on its official Weibo account.
