MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th March, 2019) The Austrian Economic Chambers will hold a day of Russian regions on March 25, Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl said on Tuesday.

"I am very pleased to announce that on March 25 we will hold a day of Russian regions in the Economic Chambers of Vienna," Kneissl told a press conference after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The Austrian minister noted that the two countries sought to develop cooperation not only between their respective capitals, but regions as well.

The two foreign ministers signed a joint statement on launching a new public forum, Sochi Dialogue, that would help deepen the cooperation between Austria and Russia.
