Canada has decided to grant authorization to proceed with the extradition process in the case of Huawei's Meng Wanzhou, the Canadian Department of Justice said in a press release on Friday

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 02nd March, 2019) Canada has decided to grant authorization to proceed with the extradition process in the case of Huawei's Meng Wanzhou, the Canadian Department of Justice said in a press release on Friday.

"Today, Department of Justice Canada officials issued an Authority to Proceed, formally commencing an extradition process in the case of Ms.

Meng Wanzhou," the release said.

Wanzhou's extradition hearing date will be announced on March 6, the release said.
