BEIJING (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st January, 2019) Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit France and Italy on January 23-27, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Monday.

"At the invitation of the diplomatic adviser of the French president, Philippe Etienne, and Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi, the member of the Chinese State Council and the foreign minister, Wang Yi, will visit these countries on January 23-27," Hua said at a briefing.

Hua noted that in France, Wang will take part in the 18th meeting of national coordinators of the Chinese-French strategic dialogue. In Italy, the Chinese foreign minister will take part in the meeting of the ninth intergovernmental commission.
