MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th October, 2018) The Council of Europe (CoE) has expressed its condolences in connection with an attack on a college in Crimea's Kerch that occurred earlier in the day, CoE spokesman Daniel Holtgen said Wednesday.
"Devastating. Tragic. Nothing is as important as the lives of our young ones.
We express our condolences to all those close to the victims," Holgen told Sputnik on behalf of CoE Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland.
The attack, which left at least 19 dead and almost 40 injured, appears to have been carried out by a young man, who shot at other college students and may have detonated an explosive device. His body with a gunshot wound was found in one of the rooms in the college.
