YALTA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th April, 2019) A public representation of Crimea will be set up in Brussels, the head of a working group on international legal issues in the permanent mission of Crimea under the president of Russia, Alexander Molokhov, told Sputnik on Saturday.
"Creation of a non-profit non-governmental public organization, 'Taurida international association,' with its headquarters in Brussels is currently being finalized. The association aims to become a reliable instrument in the fight against embargo of the Crimean Peninsula at the international level," Molokhov said on the sidelines of the Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) in Crimea.
Molokhov added that in the long run the association could become the European representation of the peninsula and could legally protect Crimean interests in the European Union after its inclusion in an official list of lobbying institutions.
The 2019 Yalta International Economic Forum is being held from Thursday through Saturday, with over 4,500 people from some 100 countries participating in the event.
