Diplomatic Ties With Thailand Will Be Celebrated Through Cultural Programmes

SEOUL, Sept. 21 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2018 ) :The culture ministry unveiled on Friday cultural programmes to celebrate the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties with Thailand.
Among the programmes, the Korean Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to hold a concert at the Thailand Cultural Center in Bangkok on Monday, in collaboration with award-winning South Korean pianist Moon Ji-young, the Ministry of Culture, sports and Tourism said. The orchestra has been invited by the organizer of "The International Festival of Dance & Music" sponsored by the Thai royal family.
Separately, Korean and Thai film students from Korea National University of Arts and Chulalongkorn University, respectively, are scheduled to co-produce a documentary about the two nation's exchanges for the coming six months. The final outcome will be screened on television and forums.
The cultural programmes run under the name of "Culture_Connected" in hopes that the two countries enhance mutual understanding and continue consolidating friendly relations through cultural exchanges, the ministry said.
